Our Somali coffee is crafted using a bespoke roasting process that delicately caramelizes the natural sugars in the beans. This unlocks exquisite warm chocolate overtones, coupled with the aromatic richness of ginger and cardamom, offering a smooth, no-bitterness finish. This unique blend not only tastes exceptional but also neutralizes coffee breath, leaving a refreshing aftertaste.

Our Somali coffee is rich in antioxidants, promotes healthy digestion, and contains anti-inflammatory properties. The inclusion of ginger and cardamom not only enhances flavor but also offers immune-boosting benefits, rich in vitamins C and B6. Additionally, gingerol from ginger helps combat odorous compounds in coffee, promoting fresh breath after every sip.

Try making the coffee on a stove! It's super easy, quick and inexpensive.

You will need:

  • Cold filtered water
  • Farah coffee: Fine and fluffy, no need to filter this coffee.
  • A pot. (The smaller, the better)
  • Granulated sugar

Method:

  • Water: Always use cold, filtered water. To measure the amount of water for each cup, use the coffee cup you are going to use. (Add a little more to be left behind inside the pot)
  • Coffee & Sugar: For each cup of coffee, use a heaping tablespoon of ground coffee. If preparing a cup with sugar, add it in the very beginning, stirring the mixture until combined.
  • Slowly bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. This will take 2-3 minutes, so keep a close eye on it. As the coffee warms, a brown foam will build.
  • Serve Somali coffee with foam on top.
  • Allow the coffee grounds to settle in the cup before drinking.
